20 – 23 November 2018 in Dehradun
M embers of PHEDCS Karel Vach, Pavel Holubec and Adam Dlesk from EuroGV participated on International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Technical Commission V Symposium on “Education & Outreach – Geospatial technology – Pixel to People in Dehradun, India, during November 20 – 23, 2018. The symposium included plenary sessions, technical sessions, tutorials, social activities, and exhibitions.
The symposium provided an inter-disciplinary platform for experts, scholars, and practitioners to present the latest developments and applications, discuss cutting-edge technologies, exchange research ideas and promote international collaboration in the field of remote sensing.
ISPRS TC V organized pre-symposium tutorials on the following topics:
- Satellite Remote Sensing of Air Quality
- Satellite Remote Sensing of Flood Monitoring and Management
- Ground-based 3D Modeling (Close Range Photogrammetry & TLS)
- Big Geospatial Data Analytics
- Citizen Science for Agricultural Monitoring
